In August 2025 the two wheel drive Everest variants were discontinued because of the New Vehicle Efficiency Standard, which treats them as passenger vehicles. In September 2025 a limited edition Sport Bi Turbo was added, and the Middle East Tremor was revealed at the Liwa festival. In India the Everest was called the Endeavour, and the SUV had no Mazda counterpart. The Everest was a seven seat SUV built on the Ranger pickup and sold mainly in the Asia Pacific region.
