The first generation Cullinan was sold until the Series II replaced it in 2024, when Rolls-Royce announced that production of the Series II would begin in August 2024. The Series I had been built since 2018 as the brand's first SUV, with a V12 engine and an aluminium spaceframe chassis, and had become the second best selling Rolls-Royce of all time. The change of series came in the autumn of 2024.
