The Xforce was first shown as the XFC Concept in October 2022 and its production version was unveiled at the 30th Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show on 10 August 2023. Production began in October 2023 at the MMKI plant in Cikarang, West Java, and the first batch was handed to customers on 19 November 2023. It won the Good Design Award 2023 and a VMARK Vietnam design award. The Xforce is built on the same platform as the Xpander MPV.
