The Honda Elevate was unveiled in India on 6 June 2023 and introduced there in June 2023. At its introduction it was the only Honda SUV on sale in India, after the first generation WR-V was discontinued. Honda brought it to Japan on 16 November 2023 as the WR-V, imported from India and sold in three variants, X, Z and Z+.
