The third generation Everest went on sale in the Middle East on 10 October 2023, powered by a 2.3 litre EcoBoost turbo petrol engine with a ten speed automatic, in XLS, XLT and Limited grades. The second generation had also been used as the base of the Arquus Trapper VT4 for the French military. In India the Everest was called the Endeavour, and the SUV had no Mazda counterpart. The Everest was a seven seat SUV built on the Ranger pickup and sold mainly in the Asia Pacific region.
