By 2022 the L663 Defender was in its third year on sale, offered as the 90, the 110 and the three-row 130 with a choice of Ingenium diesel and petrol engines and a supercharged V8 for the performance models. The line-up of trims ran from S through SE, HSE and X to the V8, with the Explorer, Adventure, Urban and Country accessory packs. The performance Defender V8 used the 5.0-litre supercharged engine also found in the Jaguar F-Type, giving 518 horsepower and acceleration to 100 km/h in about five seconds.
