The supercharged 6.2 liter Hemi V8 along with the Durango SRT Hellcat trim level was discontinued for the 2022 model year as the engine was unable to be modified further to comply with more stringent automotive emissions requirements. The 2022 Durango continued with the 3.6 liter Pentastar V6, the 5.7 liter Hemi V8 and the 6.4 liter Hemi V8 of the SRT 392, built at Jefferson North Assembly in Detroit.
