Another facelift of the Everest was released for the 2021 model year in November 2020 in Thailand. The Ranger had been paralleled by the Mazda BT-50 until 2020, but the Everest never had a Mazda equivalent, as it was seen as unfitting for the Mazda brand. The Everest was a seven seat SUV built on the Ranger pickup and sold mainly in the Asia Pacific region. In India the Everest was called the Endeavour, and the SUV had no Mazda counterpart.
