The Edge and the Lincoln MKX received a mid cycle facelift for the 2019 model year, with a revised front grille, aluminum alloy wheel options, new color combinations and a 12 speaker B&O Play sound system replacing the Sony. All models received a new eight speed automatic transmission with automatic stop start. The 2019 Edge also offered post collision braking, evasive steering assist and adaptive cruise control with stop and go lane centering.
