As Lincoln phased out its use of MK model names, the MKX adopted the Lincoln Nautilus nameplate as part of a mid cycle update introduced in November 2017 for the 2019 model year, so the 2018 MKX was the final year of the MKX name. It remained a mid size luxury crossover SUV and a rebadged variant of the second generation Ford Edge, in Premiere, Select, Reserve and Black Label trims. Its trim levels were Premiere, Select, Reserve and Black Label.
