The ZL1 1LE track package was introduced for the 2018 model year, first with the six speed manual, and in 2017 a ZL1 1LE had set a Nurburgring lap time of 7 minutes 16.04 seconds. Chevrolet also introduced the Redline Edition for 2018, and Holden Special Vehicles began converting Camaros to right hand drive for Australia in the second half of 2018. The ZL1 1LE package was initially available only with a six speed manual transmission, and was later offered with a ten speed automatic from 2019 onward.
