2017 Mazda CX-5

The second generation CX-5 reached Japan on 2 February 2017, Australia on 31 March, the Philippines on 30 March, Taiwan in April, New Zealand in April, Mexico in March, South Africa on 1 June, Europe in May, Indonesia in August, Malaysia on 11 October, Thailand on 13 November and Vietnam on 18 November. In the United States the 2017 model offered only the 2.5 liter engine in Sport, Touring and Grand Touring trims. Malaysian cars were assembled by Inokom and Vietnamese cars at the THACO Auto plant.
