In 2017 the facelifted EcoSport in India contained 80 percent Indian parts. The mid cycle updates announced for the 2018 model year included a revised front end design and a redesigned rear bumper. The EcoSport was a subcompact crossover SUV built on the Fiesta platform and made in India, Thailand, Russia, Romania and Brazil for sale in many markets. It shared its platform with the Fiesta throughout its existence.
