With the all new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica it was thought that the Grand Caravan would end, but it was later announced that the Grand Caravan would be sold alongside the Chrysler Pacifica unchanged from the 2016 model, with a simplified model lineup. The 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan became the lower priced minivan in the Chrysler lineup, with the 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 and the 62TE transmission. It was built at Windsor Assembly.
