The 2015 Honda Fit was the first North American model year of the third generation, sold in four trim levels, with navigation available on the top EX-L, and leather seats came to the North American Fit for the first time in the EX-L. In India the third generation Jazz was released on 8 July 2015, powered by a 1.2 liter i-VTEC or a 1.5 liter i-DTEC diesel, with 95 percent local parts. The third generation was shown to share its platform with the second generation HR-V.
