A truck version of the Minicab MiEV was launched in January 2013, and Nissan stopped selling the rebadged Minicab in November 2013, following the announcement of Mitsubishi that it would stop making its own kei trucks for 2014. Since then, Mitsubishi and Nissan have relied on the Suzuki Carry and Every range for their entries in the kei truck class. The Minicab MiEV remains in production as of 2025. The Minicab was sold in Japan at a specific retail chain called Galant Shop.
