In 2013 the Paceman was in its first full year of sales, a three door version of the Countryman crossover built by Magna Steyr at Graz and sold in several states of tune, from the Cooper to the John Cooper Works. Its coupe like roofline set it apart from the Countryman, and it was positioned as a sportier alternative to the larger and more practical four door car. The Paceman had a choice of two or four wheel drive and 1.6 or 2.0 liter engines.
