The 2012 model year Range Rover received a new wheel centre cap carrying the Range Rover name rather than Land Rover, and the plastic on the side vent and door handle was removed. It was the last year of the L322, whose successor, the L405, was shown to the public at the Paris Motor Show after an August announcement. The final models still used the 5.0-litre V8 petrol engines, in naturally aspirated and supercharged forms, with a six-speed automatic gearbox.
