For 2012 the Pajero was minimally restyled and given an improved monocoque body and suspension, for reduced noise, vibration and harshness, with the series designation NW. The earlier model remained in production in India until 2012 as the Pajero SFX, and in Colombia, where it was produced from complete knock down parts until 2012 with a 2.4 liter or 3.0 liter V6 engine. It was sold as the Montero in Spain and Latin America and the Shogun in the United Kingdom.
