A smaller update came in September 2012, giving the Everest a revised front grille. The SUV was still the first generation, built on the Ranger at AutoAlliance Thailand and sold as the Endeavour in India. It was the last year before the final facelift of the first generation. The Everest was a seven seat SUV built on the Ranger pickup and sold mainly in the Asia Pacific region. In India the Everest was called the Endeavour, and the SUV had no Mazda counterpart.
