The first generation Town Box was discontinued in November 2011, ending the twelve year production run, and the nameplate came back only in February 2014 on a rebadged Suzuki Every Wagon. It had been a kei car and minivan, the Town Box and the Town Box Wide, produced for the Japanese market, in which the Wide had been licensed to Proton in Malaysia as the Juara. In Japan the Town Box was sold at Mitsubishi dealers as a kei wagon.
