In February 2011 Ford unveiled the Lincoln MKT Town Car to the limousine and livery trade, as a replacement for the Lincoln Town Car sedan. The standard MKT, a full size luxury crossover on the Flex's D4 chassis, was sold with the 3.7 liter Duratec V6 making 268 horsepower and the twin turbo 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 making 355 horsepower, and it was not sold by trim level. It was marketed between the MKX, later renamed Nautilus, and the Navigator.
