The 2010 Town Car, built at St. Thomas Assembly in Southwold, Ontario, was a Flex Fuel capable full size luxury sedan on the Panther platform with the 4.6 liter V8, in the penultimate year of its run, which began in 1981 as the stand alone Town Car. It remained widely used for fleet and livery service, and the longest car produced by Ford worldwide. The third generation Town Car was the FN145, which was released for the 1998 model year.
