In February 2009 Honda Malaysia launched the RSZ variant of the Honda Stream, joining the normal Stream, and a ZS model, available only in front wheel drive, was added in September 2009. The Stream RST, which ran 2009 to 2012, has only 2 rows of seats in some countries, with the removal of the third row seat and lightweight 17 inch alloy wheels reducing weight and improving handling and acceleration, further enhanced by suspension tuning and a tailgate spoiler.
