The name Courier was applied to a small coupe utility produced by Ford in Brazil and exported to countries such as Mexico, which in 2009 was a Fiesta based pickup with a Rocam 1.6 litre engine. It had a load box of its own and was one of the few such pickups of its size on sale in the region. It began as a sedan delivery, became a Mazda built compact pickup, and later a Fiesta based van and coupe utility. The Courier was a Ford nameplate used on very different vehicles in different places and years, from sedan deliveries to pickups and vans.
