The Delica D:5 of 2008 was in its second year, an eight seater with the 4B12 2.4 liter MIVEC engine and INVECS-III continuously variable transmission on the new global GS platform. It features Mitsubishi's next generation RISE safety body. The rebadged Mazda Bongo Delica Truck and Van continued as the commercial range. With the exception of the first, versions of all generations are still being sold in various international markets.
