For 2007 the Colorado and Canyon were facelifted and offered new engines, including the 2.9 liter four cylinder and the 3.7 liter five cylinder, both introduced because of numerous head problems, and new colors. The LT models received minor changes to the grille and interior, while the LS models kept the same pre facelift look, similar to the facelift of the TrailBlazer in 2005. The 2007 Colorado had new engines and a facelift for the Chevrolet and GMC trucks, still built at Shreveport.
