The 2006 model year Range Rover had Jaguar's 4.4-litre V8 of 300 horsepower or a supercharged 4.2-litre of 400 horsepower, a BMW six-cylinder diesel still, and an updated infotainment system with a touch screen, navigation, rearview camera and a Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound of 720 watts and 14 speakers, the first original-equipment car to use that algorithm. The ZF six-speed gearbox was used from 2006 to 2009.
