2004 Ford Mustang

Automobiles

The last SN95 Mustang was built on 10 May 2004. Late in the 2004 model year the 3.8 liter Essex V6 gave way to a slightly revised 3.9 liter version with a longer stroke, though its output was unchanged, and that engine lasted only half a year before the 4.0 liter Cologne V6 took over for 2005. The supercharged Cobra Terminator, at 390 horsepower, was still on sale. The 4.0 liter Cologne V6 would be the base engine from 2005.
