The Dion of 2003 was in its fourth year, a seven seat compact MPV built at the Mizushima plant in Kurashiki, Okayama, with a body taller than other minivans of the class and a bonnet bigger than a one box car, between a minivan and a one box car. All engines had GDI, with front wheel drive or full time four wheel drive, and the instrument panel was that of the Mirage Dingo. The Dion came with the GDI engine in every model.
