The Torneo SiR Euro was offered in 2002, the very last year of production, with the same exterior styling as the Euro R and an automatic transmission only. Honda discontinued the Torneo name in 2002 with the release of the seventh-generation Accord, which took on a number of the Torneo's sportier traits. Honda ended the Torneo because Accord sales proved more popular. This page belongs to the Honda Torneo (single generation), 1997 to 2002 model years; the generation page and the Honda Torneo model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
