The Pajero Mini of 2001 was in its fourth year as the second generation, a kei SUV with the Lynx grade of four round headlights added a year earlier, offered in two or four wheel drive. The popularity of the vehicle had inspired Mitsubishi to produce several limited editions, among them the Iron Cross, the Desert Cruiser, the White Skipper and the Duke. The Pajero Mini was sold at a specific retail chain called Galant Shop.
