Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

Honda introduced its Honda Ignition Security System in 2001, essentially an engine immobilizer like those used in automobiles. Production of the Varadero moved in 2001 to the Montesa Honda factory in Spain, outside Barcelona. All versions feature a liquid-cooled V-twin engine. The sources used for this page record no other change specific to the 2001 model year, so this page claims none. Neighbouring model years are linked from this page.
