Honda released a revised, facelifted third generation City in 2000, which some markets called the Type Z. New front end tail lights came with the facelift, along with bumpers made in one piece. In Pakistan the City received a lukewarm reception at first, but the third generation was a massive hit. This page belongs to the Honda City (third generation), 1996 to 2001 model years; the generation page and the Honda City model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
