For 2000 the Limited model returned as the most luxurious Windstar, and a VCR based rear seat entertainment system with a flip down LCD screen was a new option on the SE, SEL and Limited models. The second generation Windstar, on the Ford V platform, was sold with the Limited at the top of a range from base and LX through SE and SEL, and a cargo van version, all built at Oakville. It was sold in LX, SE, SEL and Limited trims and as a cargo van, built at Oakville Assembly.
