The Middle Eastern Chevrolet Caprice came out for 2000 in four versions, the base LS, the standard mid range LTZ, a sporty SS and the range topping Royale, which was introduced in 2002. The differences between the models were mostly equipment and slight styling tweaks. The cars were imported Holden Statesman and Caprice models built by Holden, the first WH series engineered to support both left and right hand drive.
