The popularity of the Montana appearance package led Pontiac to rename its minivan line as the Pontiac Montana for 1999, and 2000 in Canada. From 1990 to 2007 General Motors Europe imported two generations of United States produced minivans under the Trans Sport nameplate. The export Trans Sport moved after the 1996 model year to the generation shared with the Opel and Vauxhall Sintra and was rebranded a Chevrolet.
