On 16 December 1999 a special edition model of the Honda Life called Minuet was released, based on the G, with privacy glass in the rear tailgate, door mirrors, door handles and tailgate handles in the same colour as the outer body, remote control electric door mirrors, a CD player and cloth seat covers. The 1999 Life otherwise continued the third generation, with the SRS airbags standard also in the passenger seat.
