The Mazda Eunos 500 remained in production under that name until 1999, when the remaining versions were withdrawn. The Xedos 6 and Eunos 500 were compact executive cars produced from 1992 to 1999, and were not sold in North America, where the larger Xedos 9 and Millenia was offered instead. The Xedos 6 was not sold in North America, with the larger Xedos 9 and Millenia model offered there instead. The 2 liter V6 produced 144 horsepower and was praised for its smooth, free revving nature.
