1997 Honda NSX

Automobiles

Honda gave the NSX its largest performance update in 1997 across all of its markets worldwide. For cars with manual transmissions, engine displacement increased from 3.0 to 3.2 liters, the revised C32B engine raising power from 274 PS to 294 PS and torque from 285 to 305 N m, while the 4 speed automatic model retained its 3.0 liter engine. Japan alone also received the NSX Type S, a trim tuned for twisty roads, and the NSX Type S-Zero, meant for buyers wanting a car for track day weekends.
