1997 Austin FX4

Automobiles

The FX4 ceased production in 1997, after a run of almost forty years, and was replaced by the TX series, introduced as the TX1, as the successor of the London taxi. It had been sold by Austin from 1958 to 1982 and then built by Carbodies and London Taxis International. The company had been rebranded London Taxis International in 1992, with three divisions, and later became The London Taxi Company.
