1996 Mitsubishi Libero

A partial improvement in October 1996 made the driver airbag and the ABS standard on every car and set up an RV package as a set option. A 1.6 liter basic V and a cheap 1.5 liter MVV Wagon were added. The Libero of 1996 was in its fifth year as a station wagon sold at the Galant stores, and its commercial van Libero Cargo stayed in production with its carbureted engines. The Libero was developed on the base of the fourth generation Lancer and Mirage as the successor of the Mirage Wagon and the Lancer Wagon.
