In Korea, Hyundai Precision Industry began building a rebadged version of the second generation Chariot in 1996 at its Ulsan plant, called the Hyundai Santamo, and it was built until 2002. An additional batch of 155 Resort Runner GT cars was built from 25 April 1996 to 27 August 1997. Most other Chariot variants, including the American-market Mitsubishi Expo, featured fully reclining first-, second- and third-row seats.
