Due to lack of demand the petrol engine was discontinued around October 1995 in one market. The Delica of 1995 was in its second year of the fourth generation, the Space Gear in Japan, sharing its engine and transmission with the Pajero, with a 2.8 liter intercooled turbo diesel and 2.4 liter and 3.0 liter V6 petrol engines. With the exception of the first, versions of all generations are still being sold in various international markets.
