Production of the P100 ceased in 1995, after twenty five years in which Ford had built it in South Africa and then in Portugal, and Turkey's Otosan made its version until 1996. The last P100 was a Sierra based coupe utility with a Sierra cab built for Europe. It began as the Cortina Pickup and ended in 1995 on the Sierra, built in Portugal. The P100 was a coupe utility pickup that Ford built on the front half of a family car, sold first in South Africa and then in Europe.
