The Delica of 1993 was in its eighth and last year of the third generation in Japan before the fourth generation of 1994, though production of the vans and wagons continued for the Japanese market until 1998. The soft cube styled van had a monocoque body, extensive safety features and a Pajero based four wheel drive chassis. With the exception of the first, versions of all generations are still being sold in various international markets.
