The Dodge Daytona was produced by the Chrysler Corporation under the Dodge division until 1993, and the 1993 model was the last year of the front wheel drive hatchback based on the Chrysler G platform. It had been restyled for 1987 and again for 1992, and was built at the Sterling Heights, Michigan plant after production moved from the St. Louis, Missouri plant. The Dodge Avenger coupe was later offered in a similar size and price class.
