For 1993 the model line took part in further branding changes: the GMT400 Blazer dropped its Full Size prefix, becoming the Chevrolet Blazer, as the S-10 Blazer was renamed the S Blazer. The 1993 Blazer was the second year of the GMT400 generation, in which GMC had renamed its counterpart the Yukon. The only engine offered was the 350 cubic inch small block V8. The 1993 Blazer was now just the Chevrolet Blazer, with the S-10 Blazer renamed S-Blazer.
