For 1992 the driver side airbag and Quad Command rear seats were made standard on the Town and Country, and all wheel drive was introduced as an optional feature. Chrysler also offered an exterior woodgrain trim delete option for the first time, replaced by a monochrome exterior with a gold pinstripe, and new gold color alloy wheels. Although Chrysler introduced integrated child safety seats that year, the feature was designed only with bench seats, so it did not fit the Town and Country.
