The Lucas 14CUX fuel injection system found on the Range Rover V8, which evolved over several years, was in use from 1990 until 1995. The 3.9-litre V8 and the 2.5-litre Turbo D diesel were the range, with permanent four-wheel drive, the ZF four-speed automatic and the LT77 five-speed manual. The car was in the United States, with its network of dealers, as a four-door only, with no other Land Rover on sale there at that time.
